For Brooke DeVries, real estate is a family endeavor. Her mom used to own the local Century 21, and when Brooke got started in the business she was one of the youngest agents in the area. Now Brooke has been working in real estate for almost 20 years, and since her daughter has started working with her as well, they are a third-generation real estate family. Brooke loves to give back to her community. Every year her company donates to Emma’s House, a charity for children who are in foster care, as well as the Linda Massa Youth Home. When she is not working or giving back, she and her husband breed Texas Longhorn cattle on the ranch they own. She also enjoys oil painting, having gone to school for art. Brooke loves the outdoors and enjoys hiking, fly fishing, and hunting. “I love living in a mountain community,” she says. “It’s a really fun lifestyle.”
